ASABI is a creative studio founded by British musician and filmmaker Kyan.

ABOUT KYAN

Hailed by music legend Nile Rodgers as a “genius” and championed by Emmy winning writer and film producer Lena Waithe, Kyan is a multi-disciplinary artist who has amassed over 130 million streams, composed music and created films for major television networks and brands.

Growing up an introverted black boy in a bi-racial, lesbian household in Cambridge informed Kyan’s early desire to focus his art on building connection and navigating the human experience through the universal languages of music and film.

Kyan currently lives on the island of Koh Tao, Thailand from where a new album and documentary film will be released this year.
