THE ISLAND (BETA)
This is an unfinished excerpt from early experiments with hybrid documentary film — unifying narrative, music as a character, and cinematic visuals, with myself as the protagonist. These are the tools I intend to develop further: bringing emotional and contextual depth to the music I create by telling stories drawn from my own life.
In the piece below (which I scored), there is no musical performance — but this development period will help me explore how to fuse moments like this with performance, creating the hybrid cinema I’m aiming for.
